Estrondo are a 22 piece live percussion band, or 'bateria', playing both traditional-Brazilian and Brazilian-influenced rhythms including samba, samba-reggae, funk, breakbeat and hip-hop.

Depending which Brazilian you talk to, Estrondo means 'thunder', 'rumble' or 'boom', any of which make a more than satisfactory description for our name.

Based in Brighton, our gigs include festivals, parades, events, club-nights, street parties, launch parties, private parties and charity events across the South East.
